Most people can't do this for two minutes.

Three days of consistent cold exposure rewires how your nervous system handles stress. Three weeks, you're a different person. The hardest 90 seconds of your day becomes the 90 seconds you stop avoiding everything else.

The VEVOR Primal Plunge is the at-home version of the practice that built the modern recovery industry. The same cold-water therapy used by elite athletes, special-forces operators, the Wim Hof method, and every research study Andrew Huberman has cited on dopamine, focus, and resilience.

What it replaces

  • Commercial gym cold plunge: $15–25 per session, $400–600/year
  • Hard-shell cold plunge tub: $2,000–$8,000
  • Cold showers (which barely work and you skip them anyway): $0, but you don't actually do it

The Primal Plunge sits in your garden, your bathroom, your garage. Five minutes a day. $129 once.

Who uses cold exposure

  • Athletes for inflammation + recovery
  • Knowledge workers for dopamine baseline reset and focus
  • Anyone rebuilding their nervous-system response to stress
  • People who tried cold showers, gave up, and need the deeper hit only full immersion gives

Use it for

  • Post-workout recovery (immediately after lifting/running/HIIT)
  • Morning hormesis (cold exposure → adrenaline → 4-hour focus boost)
  • Sleep prep (cooler core temp → faster sleep onset)
  • The discipline practice — the one thing in your day you can't fake your way through

How it sets up

  1. Unfold the tub and slot in the 8 support tubes (60 seconds, no installation)
  2. Inflate the rim with the included manual air pump — the rim becomes your headrest
  3. Fill with cold water + ice (or cold tap water in winter)
  4. Place the water-filled cushion inside as a seat
  5. Plunge for 2–5 minutes per session
  6. Drain via either the 1/2″ side valve or bottom drain, fold flat, store in the carry bag

Not a medical device. Cold-water immersion has cardiovascular effects. If you have heart conditions, blood-pressure issues, or are pregnant, consult your doctor before use.

Honest answers, before you ask.

What temperature should the water be?

For first-timers, 10–15°C is plenty. Cold tap water in winter usually hits this range. As you adapt, drop toward 5–10°C by adding ice. Below 5°C is for experienced practitioners only.

How long should I stay in?

Start at 60 seconds. Work up to 2–3 minutes over the first two weeks. Get out before you stop shivering.

How much ice do I need?

In winter, cold tap alone hits 8–12°C — no ice needed. In summer, 2–3 bags of party ice (about 5 kg total) per fill brings the water to 8–10°C and holds it for a 5-minute session under the insulated cover.

Is this safe for me?

Cold-water immersion has real cardiovascular effects. Do not use if you have heart conditions, uncontrolled blood pressure, Raynaud's, or are pregnant. Check with your doctor if unsure. The Primal Plunge is a wellness practice, not a treatment.

Do I need a chiller?

No. The insulated cover keeps water cooler. In winter, cold tap alone hits 8–12°C. In summer, add 2–3 bags of ice per fill. Chillers cost $500–$1,000 — only worth it if you're plunging daily for 12+ months.

Will it leak?

Reinforced multi-layer PVC body with welded seams, ABS frame supports. Designed for 200+ fill cycles minimum. Each unit is leak-tested before shipping. Damage in transit or manufacturing defect is covered by the 60-day refund.

Where does it ship from?

Direct from our US and EU warehouses — typically 3–7 days delivery to UK, US, and EU. Most cold-plunge dropshippers ship from China with 14–21 day lead times. We don't.

What's the refund policy?

Use it for 60 days. If it doesn't fit your routine, email us with your order number. Full refund, no need to ship the tub back, no restocking fee.
